Summary:
We have openings for Packaging Operators and Processing Operators:
Packaging Operators: In support of the packing area, you are responsible to achieve standards and be certified for all activities associated with at least two bagging machines (A & C/D) and sanitation wash-down. Able to handle routine duties and complex duties associated with set-up, operations, changeovers, assembly/ disassembly, cleaning and safety on your own. Performs all production operator support and/or Packaging Operator job duties as required.
Processing Operators: In support of the Enrobing and Bakery departments, you are responsible to achieve standards and be certified for all activities associated with at least two Enrobing Lines and sanitation wash-down or at least two Bakery skills and sanitation washdown. Able to handle routine duties and complex duties associated with set-up, operations, changeovers, assembly/ disassembly, cleaning and safety on your own. Performs all processing operator support and/or Enrobing Operator job duties as required.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
Packaging Operators: Responsible to achieve standards and be certified for all activities associated with at least two (2) bagging machines (A and C/D) and sanitation wash-downProcessing Operators: Responsible to achieve standards and be certified for all activities associated with at least two (2) enrobing lines or two (2) bakery skills and sanitation wash-downRecommends suggestions for improvementUses sound judgement in authority to shutdown line and immediately reports safety, food safety, maintenance, production and quality problems to the supervisorAs needed, performs all Packaging Operator job dutiesRequired to read, understand and follow all customer specificationsAble to manage limited supervision and is able to handle routine and more complex duties including assembly/ disassembly, metal detection and/ or changeovers on your own in most cases- if help is required, you are required to escalate the issue to the leadership team.Responsible for ensuring that all food quality and quality requirements are met by the team including date codesResponsible for ensuring/ assisting in training of new or current team members effectivelyMonitors and tracks productivity/ quality and looks for opportunities to maximize line effectivenessMonitors and controls weights of productsResponsible for monitoring, tracking and completing all paperwork associated with consumptions and GMP rules and regulationsFollows and ensures that all team members follow all safety and GMP rules and regulations.Assist in all positions/ jobs involved in the line (s) as needed or directed by managementOther duties as assigned by management
Skills & Experience:
1 year of manufacturing experienceAbility to pass a fork truck certification programAbility to read and understand customer specificationsWe Offer:
