Our teams are dedicated to helping our customers manage claims with moderate to high complexity exposures and losses.You will manage a complex claims caseload from assignment through resolution. At this level, you will work with a high level of autonomy and decision-making to manage your claims caseload while providing technical claims service excellence, policy interpretation and coverage analysis.Additional accountabilities include:* select and partner with vendors and hold them accountable to service level agreements* collaborate with a variety of internal and external contacts which include customers, attorneys, vendors, suppliers and brokers* manage communications throughout the claim cycle* negotiate and resolve claims cases independently* provide individual results and contributions in support of Claims strategy and goalsYou will be an ambassador for workers compensation claims, the Claims organization and Zurich North America, delivering the highest standards of claims service excellence and best practices, and effectively developing partnerships with key customers, brokers and other internal and external stakeholders that are critical to the success of the claim lifecycle.We are hiring talent to work from Zurich's Rancho Cordova or Woodland Hills office location.Basic Qualifications:* Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims and Litigation area that includes CA workers compensation claimsOR* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims and Litigation area that includes CA workers compensation claimsOR* Zurich Certified Insurance Apprenticeship program including an Associates Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling area that includes CA workers compensation claimsAND* Must obtain and retain required adjuster license(s)* Microsoft Office experiencePreferred Qualifications:* 5 or more years of CA workers compensation claims handling experience* WCCA or WCCP* Self-insured certificate* Analytical skills* Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment* Experience working in a collaborative team environment and across work groups* Juris Doctor (J.D.)A future with ZurichNow is the time to move forward and make a difference.
