ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishingEnsure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standardsProtect equipment and make sure there are no inadequaciesNotify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbancesDeal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patienceCheck stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriateAdhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practicesCleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, countertops, and sinksWashing windowsSorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundryKeeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other suppliesCleaning mirrors and other glass surfacesEmptying trash receptacles and disposing of wasteReporting any necessary repairs or replacements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: No prior experience or training. Public space custodial experience is a plus (e.g. hospitality lobby attendant)
Language Skills: Ability to communicate work status and discrepancies.
Mathematical Skills: No specific math skills other than basic math are required.
Computer Skills: Use of a windows-based workstation to clock in/out is required.
Physical Demands:
Standing: Constantly (>66%)
Sitting: Occasionally ( 66%)
Bending/stooping: Frequently (33 - 66%)
Reaching/twisting: Occasionally ( 66%)
Talking/shouting: Constantly (>66%)
Seeing: Constantly (>66%)
Work Environment:
The cleaning crew is normally indoors in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment with occasional exposure to ambient outside weather conditions (wind, rain, cold, etc). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
