Job Summary:Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac is seeking a results-driven and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial and accounting operations at our auto dealership in Raleigh, North Carolina. Reporting directly to the General Sales Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting a team of finance and accounting professionals and ensuring accurate financial reporting, maximizing profitability, and providing exceptional customer service.
Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer an excellent benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations at the dealership, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.- Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and reduce costs.- Build and maintain relationships with lenders and financial institutions to secure competitive financing options for customers.- Work closely with sales, service and accounting departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of deals and resolve any issues that may arise.- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.- Continuously monitor industry trends and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring transparent and efficient communication throughout the finance process.
- Sells financing and insurance to customers utilizing DOCUPAD.
- Present extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers.
-Ensure all necessary documentation for each deal is complete by utilizing a deal checklist.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting management role, preferably in the auto industry.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.- Proven track record of increasing profitability and reducing costs.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software.- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Valid Driver's License with clean record.
