SUMMARY:
Top-ranked law firm is seeking a Director of Recruiting and DE&I to provide support for the recruiting functions at the firm. This role will be responsible for implementing new diversity initiatives and strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all processes surrounding law student, staff, judicial clerk and lateral recruitingOversee OCI process from start to finishOversee the firm’s summer associate programDevelop and implement firmwide recruiting strategyCollaborate with HR, PD and BD teams to create onboarding and integration strategies for all new hiresOversee attorney offer processDevelop and cultivate relationships with law school leaders and career services officesManage professional development of legal recruiting staffDrive the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategiesLead programs and initiatives for heritage months and firmwide trainingOversee completion of firm DE&I surveys and reportsMonitor industry DE&I dataMaintain a pulse on hiring marketing trendsConsistently evaluate candidate experience and find room for improvement and praiseMonitor and evaluate lateral hiring metrics; ensure positive experience for candidatesQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required7+ years of relevant Recruiting and DE&I experience in a law firm environment requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelMust be innovative, analytical and have a collaborative approach to problem solvingExcellent interpersonal skills and experience working with executives on plan and execution of strategic goalsDistinguished leadership qualities and superb communication skillsStrong ability to collaborate with senior executivesSound judgment and discretion
