Position Summary

The Doorman/Bellman will greet guests and will provide courteous services such as opening doors, operating elevators, helping guests with luggage and helping control the guest traffic flow in the lobby. They are an integral part of the Front Office team and will provide assistance in different aspects for Htel Swexan guests as they arrive.

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering and maintaining the Forbes 5-Star level of service.Communicate and welcome guest in a friendly demeanor at all times.Maintains cleanliness of Htel Swexan's entrance, lobby, and elevators areas.Ensure safety and security for our guests.Assist guests with their luggage, packages, etc.Open doors, assist with luggage, escort guests to elevators and to their rooms as needed.Continuously finds opportunities to assist guests, other departments or leaders.Attends required training classes as needed to maintain a luxury level of service.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.Walking and standing for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 75lbs.Frequent ability in standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping.High school diploma or equivalent related experience required.
