We currently have an immediate opportunity for a
Warehouse Supervisor
to join the POWDER DIVISION at our ANAHIEM, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (office hours)
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor and his/her team have oversite and responsibility for maintaining a clean efficient warehouse, materials movement, storage and handling, verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation as well serve as the primary owner on reviewing and resolving inventory discrepancies, transaction variances and inventory adjustments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Supervisor Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse operations- up to and including the necessary training and scheduling of associates; planning, assigning, and directing work assignments; organizing movement and storage of incoming and on-hand inventories; arranging shipments and scheduling incoming receipts; coordinating work activities/requirements with other departments; addressing complaints and resolving issues.Ensure proper compliance and oversite on shipping and receiving documentation, PO's, bills of lading, work orders and other records to determine receiving priorities, system demand requirements and delivery schedules, work assignments, and methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.Oversee and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipping activities while measuring the timeliness and accuracy of shipments against the schedule, as well as ensuring that the shipments are complete and in good order.Maintain a high level of Quality compliance (reporting) on all inventory that comes in and goes out of the facility.Ensure that all Inventory Transactions are accurate and up to date. Conduct the appropriate level of investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies through investigation and collaboration with Packaging, Blending, Warehouse (as needed) to resolve the discrepancy.Serve as a resident expert on reviewing and resolving inventory discrepancies.Measure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory discrepancy reporting.Oversee compliance to the Daily Warehouse Cleaning and Storage Guidelines as well as ensure that all Expired and Obsolete (E&O) material is identified, dispositioned and destroyed in a timely, orderly and efficient manner.Serve as a Key Driver in planning and conducting physical inventories, cycle-counting, and stock reconciliations.Work with Warehouse Management on planning the layout of the warehouse and other storage areas while using Lean Principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Warehousing Principles to maximize space utilization and reduce costs.Train personnel on GMP and other warehousing best practice methodologies to drive efficiency improvements and cost reduction.Help implement and standardize departmental operating procedures to improve employee and operations performance. Responsible for ensuring fellow associates are trained on all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehouse Practices and Forklift Training Certification.Serve as warehouse lead on cross functional initiatives that resolve issues and improve performance.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES:
Assists colleagues in their tasks as required.As necessary, performs other related functions of which the above are representative.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
College Degree in Related field preferred.APICs Certification - Supply Chain / Inventory Control - desiredRequire 3-5 years of warehouse experience in a supervisory role.Experience with GMP'sHAACP, FSSC 202000 PreferredStrong working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems and managing inventory and inventory transactionsDetail and analytically focused with an ability to find solutions and resolve issuesExperience working in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to manage labor as a resource and costStrong working knowledge of Physical Inventory, cycle counting and stock reconciliationExperience in Warehousing design and work flowExperience in Lean Manufacturing/ Operational Excellence/ High Performance Organization desirable
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must have Basic Math skills; be detail oriented and analytical, must be have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), English proficiency and bilingual (Spanish)preferred but not necessary ;
must have the ability to lead and guide the group in a participative, yet decisive manner; must be team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with supervisor in identifying and implementing effective workplace programs and solutions, must be poised, confident and capable of interacting effectively with Managers and other support groups; must be detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to monitoring and measuring.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Be able to work around moving machinery and with chemicals.
