Job Responsibilities:
Provides technology leadership for front end and back-end test automation capabilities.
Define and implement strategy, framework/tooling and best practices.
Evaluate various open source and/or out of the box tools for web and mobile test automation.
Participate in DevOps and CI/CD solutioning and implementation.
Understands various back-end and front-end architecture components required to guide teams in formulating test strategies
Collaborates with scrum team/s in ensuring that automation standards and solutions are in place.
Participates in project/module-level design and architectural reviews where necessary.
Trains and mentors QE Team Members on best practices/processes.
Performs code reviews.
Ensures that automation strategy meets both IT and Business goals.
Collaborates with automation architects in continuously strategizing, researching and implementing technical solutions and tooling/proprietary software for the quality teams.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
7+ years of experience in effectively orchestrating automation framework design and implementation for web and/or mobile applications
Hands on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript programminglanguages
UI & API Automation framework experience using Cypress for web and WebdriverIO for mobile.
Experience inGitbased source control tools likeGitLab, GitHub,Bitbucketand build tools like Maven and Gradle
Knowledge of SQL and Database/backend testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
Solid experience in testing methodologies, software testing principles and test management tools like Jira or Rally
Healthcare domain knowledge
Web and Mobile Automation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner
Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering or related course work
