The Director, Facilities & Operations Compliance oversees the maintenance and operational readiness of assigned facilities and systems. Further, the Director, Facilities and Operations provides leadership to management staff and oversees all maintenance program initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant code, standards, and best practices.Provides operational leadership of the maintenance compliance program for UHealth/MSOM facilities.Provides personnel safety program leadership and ensures all direct reports adherence to UHealth/MSOM policies, procedures and required training related to workplace safety.Prepares, reviews, and implements maintenance compliance programs for the normal and emergency electrical systems associated with UHealth/MSOM facilities and in accordance with code and best practice requirements and standards.Drafts operational language for RFI, RFQ and RFPs for operation and maintenance services provided by outside vendors for assigned systems/assets.Performs direct contract management functions with outside vendors in the execution of their awarded services and programs.Works directly with the UHealth/MSOM compliance department to support, review and implement maintenance programs in response to risk assessment results for systems and/or equipment.Works directly with the UHealth/MSOM compliance department to create, review, and enhance practices that include the inspection, testing and maintenance of normal and emergency electrical systems and associated parts.Ensures appropriate record-keeping for the assigned programs.Ensures appropriate administrative control are in place to ensure coordination of operations and maintenance services are executed, verified, documented using existing systems.Reviews and requests all budgeting/accounting aspects related to compliance maintenance services.
