Position Summary This position is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directly coordinating pharmacy storeroom staff in the safe, effective, and cost-effective acquisition of drugs within University Hospitals. Essential Functions Procurement and restocking of drug products within the hospital and individual pharmacies Processing of all associated invoices and credits. Maintain orderliness of pharmacy storeroom area. Utilization of electronic systems for ordering and receiving. Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education High School Equivalent / GED Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Work Experience 5+ years hospital pharmacy experience required with emphasis on computerized pharmacy systems, such as Omnicell Cabinets and Carousel, Pharmacy Procurement and invoicing systems. Required Inventory / storeroom management experience Required Previous pharmacy supply chain experience with a working 340B knowledge Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Good communication skills essential. Required Knowledge of computerized pharmacy ordering and distribution systems. Required Proven track record in effectively utilizing inventory management systems like Omnicell, Pyxis, or comparable platforms, ensuring efficient stock control and replenishment processes Preferred Strong record keeping abilities.
