Ask us about our company-sponsored Pharmacy Technician programs to become licensed in your state.POSITION SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor, the Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.Responsibilities:Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for KnippeRx in a timely manner.Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirementsResponsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.Qualifications:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of one year pharmacy experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
:Ability to lift 20lbsAbility to work in a standing environmentAbility to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteouslyAbility to perform repetitious work accuratelyAbility to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.Ability to learn from a variety of techniquesAbility to follow established process flowsAbility to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situationsAttention to detailWork independently with little supervision and meet daily expectationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:Location of job activities 100% insideMust be available for evenings and weekend shifts if neededNoise and / or vibrations exposureReaching (overhead), and handlingHand-eye coordination and manual dexteritySufficient to operate standard office equipmentStand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computerLift, carry, and move up to 25 poundsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
