for an Inventory Control Clerk in Woodridge, IL!CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Inventory Control Clerk oversees inventory and the transfer of products in and out of a designated CORT location, ensuring we have the right product at the right time to fulfill our orders and satisfy our customers needs. The ideal candidate has prior computerized inventory control experience, shipping/receiving and warehouse experience along with excellent planning skills and attention to detail.This is a hands-on operations position; were looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves to assist on the warehouse floor or with deliveries in addition to their work behind a desk.Pay:
$18 / hour depending on experienceSchedule:

Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data baseProvides clerical support for asset teamAssures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standardsEnsures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory systemConducts product cycle countsMakes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on established minimumsReviews and processes transfers in/out & maintains product distribution recordsReviews incoming orders and responds to other CORT locations who inquire about the transfer and availability of productAssists on the warehouse floor or at event deliveries as neededQualifications:
18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required1-3 years previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experiencePhysically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basisAble to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)Must pass background checks and drug screening as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
