**Inventory Specialist**at Landing Lakeland, FL ****About the Role:****The **Inventory Specialist** is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, performing cycle counting duties and transaction audits to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous storage/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.****What You'll Do:***** Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis per schedule.* Analyze variances between system and actual counts.* Work with PIC manager, warehouse personnel and production supervisors to improve inventory accuracy.* Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.* Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)* Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.* Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays* Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipmentEducation, Experience and/or skills Required:****What You Need:***** Knowledge of Microsoft Office* Knowledge of MRP systems a plus.* Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility* Regularly operates a computer, computer accessories and phone equipment* Required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.* Occasionally stoops, kneels, reaches and carriesLanding is revolutionizing apartment living by providing our members the most streamlined end-to-end platform with access to tens of thousands of furnished and unfurnished apartments in over 80+ markets, and counting, that renters can book in just minutes.
