Thank you for considering employment with the Hermosa Beach City School District. The Hermosa Beach City School District is nestled in a beautiful beach city just 7 miles south of the LAX airport. HBCSD is currently comprised of three school sites, Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista, and Hermosa Valley School. We are a TK thru 8th grade school district with a friendly staff, an involved parent community, and high expectations. Our mission is to work in partnership with our community to empower and prepare students to achieve and thrive by providing a relevant education, a safe and healthy environment, and an inclusive culture. Under supervision, to assist special education teachers and students in classroom and resource room operations; to work with special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with instructions; and to perform related work as required. Paraeducators work Monday through Friday, 31hours per week.
