Be a strategic thinker, crafting long-term wireless network strategies to support our company's growth.Take ownership of day-to-day operations, troubleshooting network issues, gathering data, and collaborating with vendors for optimal solutions.Leverage your expertise to guide 3rd party vendors on WLAN design, heat-mapping, and wireless controller configuration during new office deployments.Collaborate with a talented team to plan, execute, and maintain our global wireless infrastructure.Ensure meticulous documentation reflects network changes, keeping everyone on the same page.Dive deep into the world of Aruba, configuring, monitoring, securing, and troubleshooting their industry-leading Wireless LAN controllers, CPPM, and Airwave platforms.Stay on top of industry trends, evaluating and recommending new wireless products and technologies that keep us ahead of the game.Participate in the network on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 uptime.The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Boasts 5+ years of experience in wireless network oversight and engineering.Possesses a strong foundation in network protocols like TCP/IP (IPv4/v6), OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, STP, GRE, HSRP/VRRP.Has experience configuring and managing enterprise routers and switches (Cisco IOS XE, Cisco NX-OS, Juniper JUNOS).Brings 5+ years of experience deploying and maintaining enterprise wireless controllers and access points (including 72xx WAC, AP225, AP335, IAP-205H models).Understands radio management protocols like Aruba ARM or Cisco RRM (3+ years of experience).Can troubleshoot client connectivity, mobility, and roaming behavior with protocols like 802.11r, 802.11k, 802.11v, Aruba Client Match, and Aruba Band Steering (3+ years of experience).Has experience designing and deploying wireless networks for unique settings like VHD (Very High Density) for events, data centers, and high-RADAR areas.Possesses 3+ years of experience with various wireless authentication mechanisms (WEP, WPA, WPA2 - Enterprise and PSK).Has deployed 802.1x for wireless and wired networks (EAP-PEAP and EAP-TLS) for 2+ years.Salary & Benefits:
