We are looking for a
QA Python Engineer
based in
Latin America
to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a video game holding company based in Santa Monica, California.Our client creates the most epic interactive gaming and entertainment experiences on earth immersing players in new, unimagined worlds. Their products help build community and create social platforms that bring people together.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify automated test suites applying common coding languagesUsing existing automation framework(s) to Design, Create, Modify and Complete automated testing and Analyze or Debug resultsImprove functionality and usability of existing automation frameworks through collaboration and requirement requestsEstablishing automation standards with best learned Key Performance Indicators to validate and report on software qualityRecognized as an automation Authority for others to learn from and may be brought in to collaborate with other QA teamsAudits the software development processes and methods used and creates action plans to ensure qualityApproach software development from a Grey-box perspective; using established developer toolsets to build custom test scenariosTeaches sophisticated testing methodologies when reviewing or running test design, test execution, test library maintenance, and test closure activitiesCommit data changes to software builds during quality assurance activitiesAdvocate of the user experience through delivery of qualitative reportingRequirementsAdvanced Level of English4+ years of experience within a QA or similar role with a focus on Quality engineering or test automation.Strong experience working with Python or LUA for scripting2+ years of experience doing Front End Testing testing both the functionality and visual appearance2+ years of experience with API Testing and API Automation (Postman, JUnit, TestNG, Rest Assured SoapUI)2+ years of experience with Web Testing and Web Automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks)2+ years of experience crafting, performing and analyzing automated test suites (Unreal Automation, JetBrains QA Tools, Selenium, or similar frameworks)Proficient knowledge of relational databases such as SQLProven experience as a QA Analyst with deep understanding of testing methodologies within the SDLC.High level of Test Design expertise (acceptance, functional, regression, exploratory and integration testing)Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub.Bonus PointsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fieldsExperience with game engines, content editors, and shared technologies [Game]White/Gray box testing experienceHigh-level of gaming knowledge and/or skillWhat we offerLong term positionsWork from anywhere in the worldCompensation in USDPaid time offCool clients and productsWork with great engineers4tech
