Job Description
Fire Sprinkler Designers that have earned NICET III or higher in Waterbased Layout must consider a position with a Stable and Professional Fire Protection Company with deep relations and expertise in Installations, Inspections, Service & Consulting of Fire Sprinler Systems, Fire Alarm, Fire Extinguishers, Special Hazard Systems, and Emergency Commercial/Civil Lighting.

Responsibilities:
Compile and prepare drawings and material submittals for review by architects, engineers, clients and jurisdictional authoritiesCoordinate and execute sprinkler design with existing structures and other MEP subcontractorsOptimize design efficiency for system fabrication and installationPerform hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler systemsDetail the design for fabrication, prepare installation drawings and prepare “as built” drawings for client files and in-house archivesPrepare stock lists and material requisitions
Qualifications:
NICET III or higher in Sprinkler Layout and DesignUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction or related OR equivalent combination of senior level education and experienceFive or more years fire protection system layout and calculationFluency within AutoCAD, HydraCAD and/or AutoSPRINK platformsWillingness and ability to travel as required to assigned project locations with valid drivers’ license
Working Conditions
Fast-paced construction office and field project environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff a while simultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 30 pounds.
