Asset Management firm in Boston is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join their ever-growing firm! The Senior Product Analyst will work on product planning, product development, positioning, messaging and execution as well as the reporting and analysis associated with municipal and bank loan products. The individual in this role will need to work effectively with internal and external teams as well as follow all industry and allocation trends.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with the municipals and bank loans teams on data analysis requests, marketing communications, product planning, positioning, distribution, and other marketing initiativesDevelop competitive intelligence and other value-add investment analysis to support sales processSupport development of product and distribution plansWork with internal teams concerning public relations, external presentations, webcast content for product coverage, and development and quality controlBuild and support product messaging within pitchbooks, RFP language, and other deliverablesWork with the marketing teams to evaluate and manage customized presentation requests as well as to perform quality control and review of marketing collateral for product messagingActively participate in preparation of quarter-end deliverablesWork closely with relationship management and distribution to ensure regular contact with clients and prospects to position the firm's thought leadership to insurersActionable intelligence at the broad market, product and sales specific opportunity levelsGenerate sales specific product comparisons vulnerable competitor analysis and product positioning in the market using third party analytical toolsDevelopment of value-added statistical analysis to highlight absolute, relative and risk-adjusted performance vs. peers and market indices under various conditionsCoordinate new product development as appropriate working with product management and the product teamsEnsure compliance with standard and customized data and presentation requests with the legal teamsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in investment managementCFA and/or MBA preferredStrong quantitative/analytical ability including expertise in software packages such as Excel, Bloomberg, Zephyr, S&P Global Market Intelligence and eVestmentKeen attention to detail with the ability to pivot between projects and meet their deadlinesAbility to work in a highly collaborative environment including with high level executivesAbility to effectively interact with and influence senior level portfolio management, distribution and operating executivesRequired Years of Experience:
