Sr. Systems Administrator , including Microsoft Server support and virtual/physical server support, application support, data management, backups, security, and end-user support. Candidate must be a hard-working, dedicated self-starter; driven to improve all areas of responsibility, and able to demonstrate effective troubleshooting.These are just a few of the benefits you can expect from working with Savage:An appreciative culture that values our Team MembersPaid Time Off (“PTO”) and Paid holidaysProfit SharingOpportunities for skill enhancement and professional growthHybrid work environmentWhat You Will Be Doing:Responsible for expertise in computing systems, hardware, software, operational, security and support issues including supporting Windows, SQL Server, Linux, Ubuntu.Install new or enhanced applications and/or hardware and servers.Review, evaluate and recommend new or upgraded systems software packages and related hardware based on enterprise standards and goals.Manage and maintain data consistency, including but not limited to backups, security, and storage.Create, review, update, and maintain accurate documentation on all systems and software.Knowledge and experience with e-mail technology Exchange, e-mail gateways, filtering, and security products.Knowledge and experience with virtual environments, disaster recovery, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.Review, deploy, and manage identity management platforms; experience with Okta is a plus.Maintain consistency and reliability in environment through adherence to established processes, procedures, baselines, and standards.Define action plans that are cost-efficient and effective at reducing risk.Enforce compliance in accordance with Savage cyber security policies and existing software agreements.Mentor other members of the IT team as needed.Ensure that all new or existing systems function properly, are current on upgrades, bug fixes, and security patches to maintain a manageable and reliable solution.Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed for system maintenance or critical issues.Other duties and projects as assigned.What You Need to Be Successful:5+ Years Experience in Managing Systems in Enterprise environments.Professionalism, Customer Service, Resolving Conflict.
