Position Summary

Sales Managers at Skullcandy are pivotal in driving sales, developing effective business relationships, and ensuring the success of our products in the market. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional motivation, a proven sales background in Consumer Electronics or Action Sports, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Primary Functional Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and replenishment teams.Generate and strategically manage new accounts and sales.Serve as the primary point of contact for all distributors and accounts in the geographic region, acting as a liaison on budget, forecasting, costs, etc.Develop and manage sales strategies for the region, including travel as required.Manage Gross Profit, Expense, Sales Productivity, Customer Service, Reporting, etc.Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.Maintain client relationships, generate/manage new accounts & sales, and retain distributors.Manage accurate records of pricing, sales productivity, gross profit, expenses, and activity.Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.Collaborate with Customers' replenishment teams and internal demand planners to ensure accurate forecasting of product needs.Attain Sales goals, top line, net, and profitability throughout the region.Provide regular feedback on the territory to the management team.Effectively launch new products in the channel.Work diligently with all customers to execute our MAP policy.Accurately forecast sell-through by model, by retailer to maximize customer availability and optimal weeks of supply.

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.Additional certifications or courses in sales management and consumer electronics are a plus.Proven sales background in Consumer Electronics or Action Sports.In-country/region experience (cultural understanding, advanced language ability).Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Excellent customer service communication skills, both written and interpersonal.Experience with SAP accounting software, Excel, Outlook, and EDI (invoicing).Accounting and billing experience a plus.
