Avera is currently seeking Physical Therapist-Outpatient (PT) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Position Highlights:

Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department.

Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swingbed, pediatrics, outpatient adult.

This position will be working in both Miller and Pierre

Job Summary

Responsible for administering the application of Physical Therapy treatments through supervision, instruction and actual patient treatment.

Anatomy, physiology and physical science and their applications to specialized techniques in evaluation and treatment of patients.

Awareness of relative value and limitations of each piece of equipment.

Clear understanding of indications and contraindications of various treatment modalities.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate of CAPTE approved School of Physical Therapy.

Continuing education program credits are preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Physical Therapy license in the state of South Dakota required.

BLS Certification required.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; PRN

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$33.50 - $50.50
