Proposal Specialist II

role within the Client Resource Center (CRC) is responsible for the development and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations.The CRC is a dynamic hub for client communication, nurturing relationships with sales, operations, marketing, and subject matter experts in every department. Collaborating within this environment, the Proposal Specialist II blends creativity with analytical prowess to elevate our value proposition.With expertise in customer-focused messaging, project management, and sales enablement, the Proposal Specialist II leads strategic proposal development. A successful candidate will embody collaboration, initiative, attention to detail, efficiency, and adaptability. Proficiency in proposal automation software is essential, alongside the ability to excel both independently and within a team setting.The Proposal Specialist II will actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts within content and department processes.Location:

This role is eligible for primarily remote based work in the continental United States, with close proximity to a major airport.

Role is Hybrid : Candidates must have the ability to travel as necessary for business to client sites, conferences, seminars, meetings & trainings, etc., including to our Indianapolis, Indiana Central Office.A cover letter and/or one writing sample can be uploaded and submitted with your resume.Responsibilities

Proactive Proposal Leadership

Prepare formal, detailed, and comprehensive proactive (non-RFx) proposals with a focus on capturing valueDevelop client-centric PowerPoint presentations.Simplify complex concepts into clear messaging and visuals.Introduce graphic content into proposals in collaboration with marketing, product marketing, and other teams.Manage multiple proposals concurrently, coordinating proposal team meetings.Content Enhancement

Enhance stakeholder-provided content for accuracy, value positioning, and brand compliance.Use research and collateral for consistent brand messaging and improved materials, collaborating closely with marketing, product marketing, and other teams.Update boilerplate content to maximize impact and efficiency.RFx Response Development

Lead RFx response development with a focus on ensuring compliance and capturing value.Review and provide written responses for RFx opportunities.Conduct meetings, obtain approvals, and collaborate interdepartmentally.Contribute to creating, gathering, and formatting submission materials.Efficiency and Continuous Improvement

Actively engage in proposal team initiatives, promoting tool usage and innovative approaches.Support content repository maintenance and maintain accurate proposal records.Participate in pre- and post-proposal activities to enhance customer knowledge and capture competitive trends.All other duties as assigned.Skills And Experience

Strong organizational skills.Ability to edit written and visual content to pivot toward customer-focused messaging.Self-management skills, including the ability to work on tasks independently as well as contribute within a team environment.2+ years of experience with proposal automation software, experience with Qvidian is preferred.3+ years of experience developing proposals that differentiate an organization from its competitors.Knowledge and use of graphic software tools.Expert knowledge and use of the English language.MS Office super user.Desired Qualifications

Sales enablement skills – specifically understanding of buyer personas, experience with SE technologies, ability to create compelling sales materials.Creative writing skills.Working experience in the sale of healthcare technology services or similar products, the use of those products in target client base, or a combination of both.Other content management, and/or project management experience will be considered.Education And Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent experience required or equivalent experience.
