YesJob DescriptionSelect’s Account Manager for Sales is responsible for building and identifying a target client base of businesses and competitors. From the beginning to end, this includes the planning, development and execution of sales strategy through the contract being awarded.The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Ability to identify and prioritize new gas and oil business clients, then contact and develop relationships with the appropriate decision-makers within these companies.Ensure sales strategy is in parallel with forecasting, targeting and development of immediate and longer-term markets, opportunities, offerings, scaling, leveraging and building the business.Assesses new business opportunities by completing market analysis, competitor analysis, and by establishing short and long-term growth goals with required steps and accountable individuals for the top prospects.Creates annual sales, marketing and growth plans to ensure assigned business development revenue and growth goals are achieved with the plans reviewed and revised as necessary each quarter in order to achieve company goals. Included is achieving sales targets for new customers.Implements a market development and sales operating plan, consistent with the accomplishment of long range established objectives that will enhance operating unit effectiveness and delineate responsibilities and authority.Develop and maintain client database.Collaborate with Operation management on new and existing projects for continuous improvement.Manages the development of site-specific business opportunities by completing financial pro-formas to establish revenues and costs that determine profitability and to ensure proper returns are achieved in the deployment of capital.Accountability for meeting sales goals with budgeted resources and developing sales strategies.Keep informed on competitive services, promotional matter, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Utilize resources and perform research to determine sales patterns and strategies.Participates in conferences and within gas industry organizations by attending seminars and meetings to identify emerging trends and needs in current and potential industries serviced.Reporting, as required, to corporate management.Creates and presents sales presentations to prospects and completes contract analysis.Writes proposals for submittal to prospects.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:7-10 years of oil and gas experience.Must have working knowledge of oil and gas field infrastructure services and oil/gas fluid handling services.Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines; position will require extensive travel with company vehicle.Comfortable with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communication and customer service skills; effective public speaker.Energy service company management experience helpful.Demonstrated record of success in business development and direct sales with a combination of utility markets, and gas and oil industry.Capability and proven abilities in research, targeting, planning, managing, delivering and executing project sales.Ability to think outside the box.Demonstrated ability to be organized, flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Exhibit ability to be a strong team player.Possess excellent written and verbal skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities.Ability to work independently.AttributesA - Accountability: Take ownership of actions and outcomes.C - Continuous Improvement: Embrace the necessity for change and commitment to continual growth and progress.T - Teamwork: Encourage and support a collaborative, safe, and engaged work environment.Compensation InformationCompensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.Top Tier BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, coverage in addition to life and disability insurance plansPaid Vacation Days and Paid HolidaysRetirement and Savings (401K) PlanPhysical Demands and ExposuresThis position works inside a climate-controlled environment.
