W2 contract - NO C2CResponsibilitiesAnalyze, curate, and curate data essential for contemporary BI/ML applications.Develop data frameworks and pipelines to seamlessly integrate diverse data sources.Devise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services and alternative platforms.Ensure data is sanitized, standardized, and tailored for storage and analysis, aligning with business and technical specifications.Streamline operations through task automation and deployment of robust, tested code adhering to industry standards.Populate transformed data into various storage and reporting frameworks including data warehouses, real-time reporting systems, and analytical tools.Required Technical Skills:Proficiency in data engineering and utilization of cloud-based data processing services, particularly within the Azure Cloud Platform.Practical expertise in Data Warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.Demonstrated experience in constructing and refining 'big data' pipelines, frameworks, and datasets for enhanced efficiency.Profound understanding of SQL and proficiency in Python/PySpark scripting.Agile and receptive approach towards adopting new technologies and embracing evolving methodologies.Required Functional Skills:Communication skillsCollaboration skillsPresentation skillsOptional Skills:Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Java is a plus.Performance/security-oriented data modeling and data design, including partitions, different type of indexes, views, and most effective data management practices.Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps.Knowledge of Purview, Snowflake, Qlik, or Tableau is a plus.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar.Azure Data Engineer certification (preferred).
