The Project Manager is responsible for multiple projects and meeting service level agreements (SLA) for schedule, cost, and quality objectives. Candidate must demonstrate application of sound PM principles including risk and issue management as well as resource loading and level of effort planning. Must assist other PMs to improve standard operating procedures and project management maturity.Salary Range:

120k-140k - Compensation is determined by the candidate's expertise, experience, and location.On a day-to-day basis you will:Manage a portfolio of projects according to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the organization according to budget, timelines, milestones, and work products.Utilize Agile project management techniques to efficiently deliver projects within budget with all requisite features and functionality on schedule.Direct a multi-disciplinary team of technical staff and researchers within a matrix organization, monitoring and ensuring functional organizations complete milestones according to budgets and schedules.Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.Provide regular communication to project teammates, executives, and senior management regarding project status, budget, risks, decisions, delivery quality, and resource-related issues using appropriate monitoring tools and techniques.Translate business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa.Translate business strategy into technology strategy in consultation with other team members and management.Participate in change control (for example, reviewing configuration change requests).Establish, maintain, and nurture a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders.Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.Required Education/Qualifications:Security Clearance:

Top-Secret security clearance, fully adjudicated.Education:

Bachelors (or) Masters degree required5+ years of experience managing projects using the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum development methodology, and project management lifecycle required.Previous experience in multiple roles, such as business analyst, programmer, process analyst, project manager, and business consultant required.Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power PointExcellent proficiency in Microsoft ProjectExperience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills.Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsPreferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Scrum Master and/or PMI-ACP preferred
