Job DescriptionSr. Product Manager, Protein BiomarkersR-01230478The Senior Product Manager, Protein Biomarkers will have responsibility over a line of antibody detection products for use in transplant diagnostics applications. The right candidate will be able to balance managing the our existing products along with a focus on new product development driven by market research through direct customer feedback, review of scientific publications and close collaboration with R&D, business development and the commercial team as we look to grow our portfolio of products and technologies within this space. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative products that ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Transplant Diagnostics Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.Location:

US remoteA Day in the LifeManage existing products to ensure adequate supply through understanding of the market needs and working closely with commercial, R&D and operations to provide robust forecasting.Lead analysis of global market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy. Identify new growth opportunities for growing customer and business value through product development and differentiation.Guide new product development with R&D including Voice-of-Customer research, defining critical customer and product requirements and corresponding business and financial justification.Engage with business development to assess and in-license/acquire new products and technologies. Assist in negotiations with external partners to ensure business and customer needs are met.Build and communicate global launch plans including market segmentation, value proposition, commercialization strategy, regulatory strategy, reimbursement approach, competitive analysis, forecasting, pricing, and positioning. Work closely with a core team of R&D, operations, marketing and commercial leaders to develop product launch plans.Work with team to support development of long-term strategy and product roadmap with portfolio partners and ensure alignment with broader business strategy.Keys to SuccessEducationBachelor's degree required, preferred in Life SciencesMBA a plusExperience8+ years of product management, product development, or other related experienceExperience in the IVD spaceSales experience a plusKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge of transplant diagnostics products and their usage and applications in the histocompatibility and immunogenetics field preferred.Skilled at working with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical abilities and attention to detailAbility to learn new products and technologiesAbility to travel up to 25%Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
