Duties:
Develop complex web-based applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and Python.Build production-hardened web services, with consideration for security, performance, scalability, reliability, and repeatability.Build composable APIs and libraries to solve different software problems using API design.Prototype new product concepts for enterprise clients.Apply expertise in application server frameworks such as Django, automated testing concepts in web apps, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and database fundamentals including indexing, SQL queries, and database schemas.Engage in advanced web application development, web front-end test automation, and integration of test environments with CI/CD pipelines.Design, debug, and profile high throughput relational databases and design and implement reusable React components.Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Experience Required:
5 years of progressive experience as Software Engineer or related occupation.Special Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:Developing a configurable and template-able front-end framework driven by JSON configuration to enable rapid iteration of web user interface.Working with business intelligence systems or log/metric aggregation and visualization tools.Working with containerization and container orchestration tools and platforms.Handling SQL queries and identifying query performance bottlenecks by using industry standard tools and techniques.Designing and implementing composable REST and GraphQL APIs while adhering to industry standards with language agnostic interface definitions.Designing or implementing systems that enable distributed tracing capabilities.Designing self-service interfaces to drive front end experience and backend data processing configuration with front-end in React or TypeScript and backend in Django.Position permits telecommuting:
Applicant may reside anywhere in the U.S. and reports to the San Francisco, CA office.Salary:
$215,197 to $302,000 per year.Worksite:
