MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a well-known breast care center in the District of Columbia that is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join their team.
Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications for a Mammographer:
Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
Current certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in Washington, DC.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities for a Mammographer:
Position patients for mammography procedures and ensure proper alignment for accurate imaging.
Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of breast tissue.
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of mammogram images.
Provide patient education and support throughout the mammography process.
