OVERVIEW OF THE AR SPECIALIST ROLE:

• The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process daily cash deposits and maintain cash control sheet
• Update accounts receivable ledger by customer
• Obtain and mail invoice copies for customers upon request
• AR Specialist will process daily credit card deposits
• File check stubs and bank receipts
• Research and process customer claims of invoice payment
• As the Accounts Receivable Specialist you will conduct research and process chargebacks, returns, and bad checks
• AR Specialist will answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up
• Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary to update accounts
• Assist with related special projects as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE AR SPECIALIST ROLE:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• College degree in Accounting or Finance not required but preferred.
