Job Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to SFG.

Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to SFG.

Build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating/automating migration of jobs.

Performs problem analysis for migration of complex configurations from MOVEit to SFG.

Performs complex installation, configuration, customization and tuning. Provides input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures.

Assists in strategic planning and architecture and design. Makes recommendations on functional and business requirements.

Participates in project activities and provides technical assistance for assigned projects

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

Expert knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) with more than five (5) years of hands-on experience on SFG

Strong experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, and load testing.

Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, WebDAV, etc.)

Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)

Experience or strong knowledge of application programming/scripting technologies (.Net/Java/J2EE, AJX, ASP, BPEL/BPML, SQL, XSLT, Linux/Unix/Windows shell scripts)

Experience with .Net/Java based frameworks and solutions.

Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.

Ability to work within a cross functional team as well as with various stakeholders.

Experience working in financial services industry preferred.

Education:

Bachelor ‘s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
