Business Financial Analyst

This position will work extensively with members of the Finance and Accounting groups to manage cash, perform financial analyses, and assist with forecasting and budgeting. Additionally, this individual will maintain cash flows, monthly financials, and long-range plans. He/she must be able to handle a large volume of tasks and possess the ability to prioritize. He/she must work closely with business units to complete assigned tasks. He/she should be able to work independently and strive to resolve issues and complete tasks without supervision. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing cash dailyAssisting with joint venture distribution calculationsInteract directly with Finance groups to obtain updated cash disbursementsPrepare AR Facility daily cash requirements and reportingPrepare intercompany cash analysisPrepare monthly cash flows in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are metAssist with the quarterly Forecasts, annual Budget and Long-Range PlansResponsible for ad hoc reporting, analysis and/or other projects as requiredAssist Divisional VP of Finance with financial reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting2-3 years finance/accounting experience is requiredAbility to handle large volume of entries for review given deadline constraintsDetail oriented while maintaining efficiencySelf-starter, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task with attention to detail, accuracy and excellent follow upAbility to work independently following prescribed schedules and be resourcefulIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is requiredMust have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of management
