The Solution Architect – Finance, Legal, and Revenue Management is responsible for the architecture and solution design of Inspire’s multi-brand digital e-commerce platform which is the digital backbone of Inspire and all its brands. Once developed, this cloud-native platform will be responsible for handling hundreds of millions of transactions per year and generating $5+ billion annual sales for the company. This person will lead complex projects and ensure the success of digital application development and rollouts. This person will also serve as a subject matter expert and trusted technical advisor to the Inspire Executive and Leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and architect scalable and distributed Digital E-Commerce Platforms using cloud and other emerging technologies.

Collaborate with other Solution architects to design a unified multi-brand digital platform that will work across all Inspire Brands.

Design solutions that are scalable and flexible to support different brand demands.

Influence the successful implementation of these designs and architectures by managing expectations and risks and balancing tactical and strategic approaches.

Work with the business to understand and solve complex problems, by presenting various solution options and technical concepts in a comprehensible manner.

Collaborate with the delivery teams to provide direction and design in an Agile environment.

Creates reliable solution plans that include cost estimates and optimized delivery approaches by working with the business and technology teams, enforcing governance and compliance activities for the solution.

Identify new disruptive technologies to provide business value.

Create and participate in the establishment of domain models and common services and Lead/support efforts for Digital Technology and Application Rationalization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

4 Year Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Preferred

Graduate Degree Computer Science Preferred

Minimum 10 years, preferably 15+ years of experience in application design and development, and systems life cycle management

5+ years of architecture experience working on complex enterprise systems

3+ years of e-commerce experience in the food or retail industry.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

Expertise with digital E-commerce domains (i.e. Search, Catalog, Order, Offer, Cart, Pricing, Customer, loyalty, etc).

Strong demonstrable experience leading architecture development for enterprise-scale systems in public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), preferably with Azure experience.

Experience converting business requirements to designs and user stories.

Experience working in an Agile environment across multiple scrum teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.

Deep knowledge and experience in REST API, Micro-services, SwaggerHub, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure, and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, and all the so-called “capabilities” of a system.

Expertise in Java, and Spring boot and willing to work on Proof of Concepts when required.

Finalize the project use cases and requirements with the business and development team.

Provide project cost estimates to the business.

Provide sign-off on project and/or application architecture and deployment.
