Principal Scientist/Associate Director Antibody Process Development

We are seeking a Principal Scientist/Associate Director Antibody Process Development to join the Adcentrx CMC team. Adcentrx Therapeutics is driving ground-breaking efforts in cancer biotherapeutics drug development. The candidate will help to develop novel targeted biotherapeutics that can make a difference in the life of cancer patients.This position will focus on antibody manufacture including upstream and downstream process development. The candidate will lead the efforts for developing cell culture and purification processes including medium development, feeding strategies, process parameter optimization, chromatography, and scale-up for large scale production to support R&D, pre-clinical, and clinical activities. This individual will design experiments, provide technical leadership, and serve as the subject matter expert on project teams and work closely with other groups to provide support for the Company’s projects. This individual will also be responsible for technology transfer to third parties including partners and CDMO. The role will involve authoring development reports and CMC sections for regulatory submissions including INDs and BLAs.Qualifications:Ph.D. with 4+ yrs industry experience or MS with 8+ yrs industry experience in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field.Hands-on experience with CHO and other mammalian cells for mAb or recombinant protein production is a must.Previous experience in cell culture scale-up, tech transfer including drafting development reports, production batch records, protocols and knowledge of scale-up and scale-down models is highly desired.GMP experience.Experience with US IND/BLA and China IND/BLA.Adcentrx Therapeutics is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the lives of our employees and their families.
