As a Massage Therapist at our airport spa, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional massage and bodywork services to travelers seeking relaxation and relief during their journeys. This position requires a skilled and compassionate professional who can deliver high-quality treatments, creating a haven of tranquility amidst the airport environment. Responsibilities: Massage and Bodywork Services: Perform a variety of massage techniques and body treatments based on guest preferences and spa protocols. Customize treatments to address the specific needs and concerns of individual clients. Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client confidentiality. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to recognize any contraindications for certain stretching techniques. Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering consistent, high-quality massage services. Communicate effectively with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns or adjustments to the treatment. Uphold the spa's standards for excellence in service delivery. Guest Service: Greet clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression. Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' preferences and any specific health considerations. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend personalized treatment plans. Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all interactions with guests. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guests concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Escalate complex matters to management when necessary. Sales: Promote spa services and products to guests. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers. Provide information on promotions, packages, and additional services, aiming to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Guest Services Coordinator and other spa staff to ensure a seamless and coordinated guest experience. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay informed about spa offerings. Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including proper cleaning and sanitization of massage rooms and equipment. Follow spa policies and procedures related to health and safety. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and polices related to spa operations. Maintain confidentiality regarding guests' information and spa procedures. Participate in continued education in your field to remain current on your license. Required Qualifications Valid Massage Therapy License/Certification in State/County Proficiency in massage modalities. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills. Ability to adapt massage techniques based on individual client needs. Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the varying schedules of airport travelers. Must be able lift/push/pull up to 35 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a salon or spa setting. Demonstrated attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Valid certification in stretch therapy or related field a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced Environment.
