Duties:The applicant shall provide a full scope of dental assisting services including: chairside dental assisting, operatory set-up and break down, instrument pre-cleaning, and operatory/equipment/supply disinfectionThe applicant shall provide a full scope of direct patient care services.The applicant shall provide a full scope of clinical documentation services including charting, documentation in the electronic dental record.Education/ Experience:
the applicantmust meet at least one of the following qualifications:
The applicant shall have at least 6 months experience as a dental assistant and has a dental radiology certification.The applicant Must Maintains a current, unrestricted state dental assisting license from any of the 50 United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.The applicant must be graduated from a CODA accredited, one-year dental assisting degree program that issues a dental assisting degree or certificate.The applicant shall have Achieved and maintains registered dental assistant certification through AMTThe applicant shall maintain a DANB certification.
