Our Atlanta office is located in the historic Biltmore building, across from Georgia Tech’s campus, walking distance to several great restaurants and centrally located to the MARTA.
We allow for flexible hours and some telecommuting options, but you should be in office most days.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Secure Cloud Based environments, particularly in AWS
Perform ongoing, monthly audits of infrastructure for vulnerabilities
Advise on and preventatively remediate security issues
Write scripts to aid in testing, debugging, and gather statistics on the servers.
Working with client companies to make sure their data is properly secured
Strategic planning and project management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/MS in computational discipline required. BS/MS in systems engineering is preferred.
Experience implementing security controls around data and data products
Experience with build/deployment tools and related environmental artifacts (such as Salt, Chef, Jenkins, Jira, Subversionand Git)
Experience in analyzing infrastructure implementations from a security perspective
Knowledge and experience implementing or integrating general application security API’s and protocols and IDM systems such as Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SSO, etc
Knowledge of
and experience implementing PKI systems
Experience with various VPN implementations
Familiarity with network and security configuration management best practices - SIEM, IPS/IDS, IAM
Familiarity with Industry compliance standards, e.g HIPAA, NIST
Experience with security scanning and penetration testing tools (Nessus)
Strong documentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience securing and supporting MongoDB, CouchDB or Cassandra
Experience securing Java applications and containers in a production environment
Experience securing RHEL or Centos
