Position Summary
The Functional Analyst role serves as a technical expert in Oracle Cloud applications, driving enhancements, support, and delivery of new features for the Clayton Technology Team. This position demands a strong background and knowledge in the configuration of Oracle Cloud Financial modules and impacts from changing, adding, or removing configurations within the Oracle Fusion suite of applications. The Functional Analyst will coordinate and interact with internal development, shared services, quality assurance, vendor management, portfolio, architecture, and business unit teams to ensure requirements are understood and capable of being implemented. This is a technical role requiring strong analytical skills and a willingness to conduct thorough what-if analysis and testing. This position will also be responsible for coordinating data validations on integrations and data conversions and advising on how to best integrate external systems with Oracle.
About The Team
You will be a part of a team of Oracle Cloud Functional Analysts that work cross-functionally with other business units in the company to provide best practices and functionality to the Oracle ERP Cloud Platform. This collaborative team coordinates and contributes to analytic work with consultants, vendors, business analysts, and subject matter experts from all business units across the organization. They also coordinate implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with all impacted groups. In this position, you will primarily be responsible for designing, configuring, updating, and maintaining modules in Oracle Financials Cloud, primarily Accounts Receivable, but could include support of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and other financial modules.
Primary Qualifications
Experience supporting, configuring, and implementing the Oracle Cloud Accounts Receivable module.Experience with design of integrations with external systems and familiarity with Oracle SOAP and REST API.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, end users across a variety of business unites, Technology professionals, and subject matter experts.Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and independently.Ability to provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques including the ability to find root cause and corrective action for given problemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and business experience.Migration of configurations and other applicable objects from one environment to anotherManaging and reviewing vendor supplied patching and new or updated featuresWorking with vendor supportManaging implementation partners and working with the business to define scope of work.Leveraging Administration and/or development toolsDesired Skills
Background in performing analysis, administration, documentation, troubleshooting, testing, software and data/environment refreshes preferred but not required.Demonstrated experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language) or other programming languages
