Qualifications:Minimum Qualifcations5 of the most recent 7 years experience as a Sterile Processing Technician with at least two years in a leadership capacityLicensure, Registration, CertificationOne of the following:CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician),HSPA,CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution TechnicianAndOne of the following:CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader),HSPACSPM (Certified Sterile Processing Manager)CBSPDDesired QualificationsOne of the following:Bachelors degreeAny combination of additional, relevant sterile processing specific experience, education, or certificationLicensure, Registration, CertificationAdditional HSPA or CBSPD certifications-Instrument Specialist (CIS or CSIS), Endoscope (CER or CFER), etc.Responsibilities:Provides supervisory support to the Sterile Processing Manager and maintains responsibility for the training and development of new and existing Sterile Processing staff.
