Overview:

You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. A massage therapist provides a variety of touch modalities for our guests as listed in the Spa Menu which include massage and body treatments. Using outstanding guest service the massage therapist will also suggest products and services to meet the individual needs of each guest.Responsibilities:Perform spa treatment services as outlined in spa treatment protocolsDemonstrate a high level of guest serviceParticipate in all spa treatment and service training programsAssist guests with home care program and productsCommunicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employeesBe courteous to all guests and coworkersRegularly attend meetings (including): daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, monthly department meetingsMaintain all sanitation and HACCP documentation in accordance California & DH&R health codesPractice effective listening (seek to understand)Perform related duties as requiredPerform duties in a safe manner, routinely observing all safety procedures. Report accidents and injuries in a timely mannerBe responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general propertyStock and restock treatment rooms with necessary suppliesAdditional Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain the company image and vision statement.Make optimal use of financial resources.Participate in ongoing training and encourage the personal development of all associatesTo provide an exceptional guest experienceQualifications:

Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write EnglishMust have strong customer service skillsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsMust possess ability to implement and uphold high service standardsMust have ability to interact with all associates and resort guestsMust have ability to perform well in stressful, high-pressure situationsMust be able to stand or walk for long periods of timeExperience, Education, & Licensure:Certificate of completion from recognized massage program (minimum of 500 hours)Certificate of completion from recognized aesthetic program (preferred)State of California Massage LicensePassing of MBLEX or NCBTMB test, per California Massage License Requirements.CompensationBase Pay Start Rate: $16/Hr. + Tips#Terranea
