Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Desktop & Depot Support Manager to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role you would be a part of our growing relationship with one of our great clients and be responsible for managing a team tasked with Desktop and Depot Support.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of support engineers
Ensure all the client desktop support tasks are being done in a timely and efficient manner (Software Break Fix support, Image Loads, Asset Recovery, Asset Tagging, Printer Support, etc...)
Ensure all the client depot support tasks are being done in a timely and efficient manner (Managing the storage, inventory, and picking/packing of equipment, etc...)
Ensure all documentation and reporting is being completed
Ensure that all tasks are compliant with our client's policies
Other Client Support duties needed to maintain Workstation operations and customer satisfaction may be assigned
Qualifications:
Previous IT Management experience
2-3+ years of previous experience in Desktop/Depot Support or similar roles
Experience providing leadership and managing a team and helping to develop that team in their careers
Expertise in documentation & reporting
Knowledge of PC Imaging
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Dell Technician
Expertise in Inventory Control
Requirements
Must be within driving distance of Hartford, Farmington, or Middletown Connecticut, and willing to work onsite in one of these locations.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
