About the Opportunity

The RRT (Rapid Response Team) program is our companies response to an increased need for licensed and certified medical professionals within healthcare facilities experiencing a surge due to a disaster or other organizational challenges. OPCO temporarily deploys licensed/certified and trained nursing professionals such as RN, LVN/LPN, and CNAs, to nursing home facilities to provide patient care. Members will typically deploy for six (6) weeks to eight (8) weeks and work up to 12 hours on an AM or PM shift during 24-hour operations depending on the facility's needs. Active license/certification required.

Active Certified Nursing Aide license in practicing state.At least two years of experience.Excellent attendance and customer-service advocate.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident's reach.Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
