Job Objective:
Drives box truck for The Salvation Army, picking up and transporting materials. Provides exceptional service and exhibits a professional and polite demeanor to all connections & contacts.
Essential Functions:
Follows all routing procedures as scheduled, ensuring DOT & OSHA compliance.
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Completes tasks using the DSS program and other apps assigned on iPAD
Ensures the safety & security of trucks, all equipment, and transported goods.
Acts as a mentor, supporting & training residents completing a work therapy assignment.
Communicates effectively with all internal & external contacts.
Adheres to all safety procedures, including wearing the proper PPE, following the rules of the road, and reporting any injuries or accidents immediately.
Maintains a neat and professional appearance.
Supports the mission of The Salvation Army.
All other duties as assigned.
