Business Data Analyst III San Diego, CA ( Local Candidates within 50 Miles) 12 Months Intuit No H1B, CPT RATE: $70/Hr on C2C Job Description: Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to help us in identifying, analyzing and ensuring delivery of high-quality data for experience personalization across Intuit's ecosystem of products. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, architects, program managers, and other analytical teams to build highly leveraged data products. As a member of an in-demand team, you will have an ownership mindset and a passion for delivering advanced data-powered solutions. This is an exciting time to be joining as we are integrating clean, high quality data into many cutting edge use cases such as Generative AI, real-time personalization, and graph-based customer recognition. Data is central to Intuit's core strategy, and analysts are a critical component to evangelize data-driven decision making as we look to transform and scale the way we build new products and services. Responsibilities: Partner with cross-functional teams in product, program, design and development to design and build analytics tools that provide deep visibility into data quality. Provide teams with ad-hoc analysis (SQL), automated dashboards (Tableau/Qlik/Quicksight), and self-serve reporting tools to make data access easy for decision-makers across the organization. Partner closely with software developers to connect disparate data sources together into viable analytics solutions. Share insights with key partners and leaders related to the impact of new initiatives, trends in key metrics, and help track progress towards goals moving beyond operational analytics insights into strategic ways of measuring/defining new metrics for driving the business forward. Effectively communicate at all levels, respond effectively to unexpected obstacles and proactively provide updates. Share responsibility of the analytics backlog, connecting directly with stakeholders to communicate prioritization and commitment to a co-owned and evolving data strategy. Qualifications: 5 years of experience working in data product, data platform or other related analytics fields with a strong knowledge of data quality standards and their implementation. Exceptional SQL skills and experience working with large data sets using tools like DataBricks. Strong data architecture and ETL mindset and related skills. Has built self service data tools that serve multiple cross functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end thinking. Outstanding communications skills with the ability to influence and build consensus. Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances. Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines. Familiar with cloud based analytical tools. AWS experience is a plus.
