Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, and Total Rewards groups. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HRIS, benefits administration support, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, special projects, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.Manages updating information in the HRIS Systems and other online systemsAssists HR Business Partners with employee relation issues, including conducting investigations, conducting terminations, and counseling employees under supervision of the HR Business PartnersKey partner to the HR Business teams for HR specific tasks such as but not exclusive to: internal offer letters, HRIS changes, and coaching & performance feedback documentationPartners with key vendors including ADP, Concur, Jobvite, and other HRIS systemsKey member of New Hire Orientation process which includes: I-9 compliance, HRIS signature compliance and personal profile compliance of employee informationAssists the Sr. Benefits Specialist during Open Enrollment and for HRIS benefit needsOrganizes and expedites the flow of administrative work in the HR departmentMaintains any documentation and filing and initiates any follow-up actions requiredCoordinates the termination/exit interview process, ensuring that the proper termination processes/paperwork is followed through in a timely mannerPerforms all other duties, projects and responsibilities as assignedSelection Criteria1 to 2 years experience in a Human Resources administrationStrong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulationsExperience with onboarding new employeesUnderstanding of Human Resources Law and its applicationMust possess empathy and ability to speak with and listen to employees at all levels of the organization, balanced with the ability to have difficult, confrontative conversationsDemonstrated experience maintaining a calm/professional demeanor when handling demanding situationsPossesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a concise mannerProven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on deadlineExperience handling & maintaining confidential informationStrong work ethic and desire to achieve resultsDemonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills. Cite examples of organization and time management/methods used to manage or prioritize workload demandsEducational RequirementsBachelor's degree (or equivalent in education and experience) in Human Resources, Human Relations, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or Business ManagementComputer skills and knowledge of hardware & software requiredExperience with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycor, ADP, Jobvite or similarFamiliarity with employment law and regulationsExperience in a fast-pace, dynamic work environmentCertifications & licences (i.e. CPA, etc.)Membership in SHRM
