About the Opportunity

We are seeking an

Associate Web Designer , with a focus on WordPress, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including website content updates, design modifications for operational materials, and collaborating with multiple team members to prioritize tasks. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and committed to meeting the needs of the operations we support. Duties and Responsibilities

Designing and implementing new features and functionality for both new and existing websites using WordPress. Ensuring websites are optimized for smartphones and other mobile devices. Perform regular updates and maintenance of website content, including text, images, videos, and rich media. Configure engagement forms, systems, and other interactive elements on all our operations' websites. Ensure stability of websites, analytics, and points of engagement to provide a seamless user experience. Handle website change requests in a timely fashion, ensuring accurate and efficient implementation. Collaborate with multiple team leaders from different departments to gather design requirements, discuss project objectives, and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and business needs. Stay informed about industry trends, web design best practices, and emerging technologies. Flexibly adapt to meet the needs of the operations we support, taking on new challenges and tasks as required. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven work experience as a WordPress Designer or similar role, with a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience using Divi, Elementor, WPBakery, or other wordpress builder platforms Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle website change requests in a timely and efficient manner. Proficiency in Adobe Cloud platforms, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and more. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. A portfolio highlighting your web design projects (if available) is a plus.
