If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.Job title: Vice President of Data Architecture and EngineeringWork location: Irving, TXJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Data Architecture and Engineering to join our the Decision Intelligence (DI) team of our pharmaceutical services business unit. This individual will play a critical leadership role in orchestrating complex data processing pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a variety of sources, delivery high quality analytics solutions & managing data & analytics at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling concepts and the ability to develop robust and scalable solutions that transform data into a useful format for analysis and insights. In this strategic role, he/she will oversee the development and maintenance of our data architecture, as well as manage the operational excellence of the DI team’s data and analytics products. With a focus on enabling data-driven decisions and creating significant business value through advanced analytics, this individual will be responsible for developing an end-to-end strategy that also leverages data science and AI technologies to deliver innovative digital solutions.Roles & responsibilities –Strategic Vision and Scalability:

Architect and reinforce a strategic vision for data processing pipelines that underpin our PSaS DI team’s analytics and decision intelligence products.Focus on scalability, reliability, and effectiveness in driving data-driven change.

Leadership and Alignment:

Directly oversee multiple Director level leads, ensuring cross-functional alignment and synchronization of operational activities with data architectural frameworks and engineering excellence.

Cutting-Edge Data Solutions:

Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive data architecture and engineering strategy.Support the PSaS DI team’s aspirations to augment and automate business decisions through cutting-edge data solutions.

Technology Adoption:

Champion the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies in data architecture.Explore machine learning, AI technologies, cloud data platforms (e.g., DataBricks, Snowflake, Azure), and data modeling concepts.

Collaboration and Integration:

Lead collaborative efforts with external vendors, program managers, and internal stakeholders.Model and design data integrations that address specific business requirements.Augment the capability of the PSaS DI team to deliver impact-driven solutions within allocated budgets and timelines.

Innovation and Best Practices:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the data architecture and engineering domains.Elevate the data analytics discipline across the organization.Advocate for best practices in data management, quality, and governance.

Technical Execution:

Maintain data solutions, including the implementation of data pipelines, scheduling, orchestration of jobs, and automation of tasks.

Collaboration and Evaluation:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (architects, analysts, DBAs) and external partners.Solve problems and participate in the evaluation and identification of new technologies.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.Our Base Pay Range for this position

$214,600 - $357,600
