Tax Accountant (CPA)

As a Senior Accountant with the Tax team you will spend your time serving a diverse set of clients including individuals, trusts and estates, for-profit and non-profit businesses, and governments across a variety of industries. Your time will be focused on preparing tax returns, performing general ledger analysis and reconciliations, and advising clients on tax and business matters.Job Duties

Identifying and understanding the “big picture” for client business objectivesDriving client satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions to resolve client issuesBuilding new and maintaining existing client relationships to ensure sustainable business growth of the firmIdentifying cross-selling opportunities and converting them into closed salesPrioritizing multiple engagements while maintaining positive communications with clients and team members about statusWorking within engagement budgets to deliver results to clientsIdentifying out-of-scope work and communicating with supervisors and clients about additional feesQualification and Experience

Certified Public Accountant preferred or ability to obtain licensureBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or other similar fieldTwo or more years’ recent experience in public accounting tax environmentThe willingness and ability to work additional hours, particularly during tax season (January – April), and our Fall busy season (August – October)Experience working on multiple client engagements simultaneouslyStrong general ledger accountant
