Essential FunctionsReview patient notes for completeness and accuracy.
Create written orders and prescriptions and forward to doctor's offices for approval.
Complete records request from outside parties.
Provide patients with an explanation of patient benefits, patient portion and payment plan options.
Verify insurance benefits.
Obtain insurance authorization and document accordingly
Analyze medical review policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One to three years' experience working in the healthcare field.
Able to work overtime.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines.
