We’re offering a chance to deliver software that touches millions of people, pushes $billions of economic impact, and is at the forefront of delivering real-time AI applications to the real world.We move fast, believe in collaboration over competition, and have the backing of major VCs like SignalFire, Correlation Ventures, and Y Combinator.If this sounds like a fit, come join us at our office in the heart of SF and let's build something great.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems for our automated order-taking platformCollaborate closely with our team to ensure the seamless integration of our backend with our ML models and client devicesMonitor and optimize the performance of our backend systems in production environmentsBuild and maintain integrations with 3rd party restaurant software systems like POS, loyalty, payment gateways, and customer data platforms.Implement best practices in system design, code quality, and testing to ensure a reliable, secure, and maintainable systemRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining backend infrastructure in production environmentsProven track record of building and deploying scalable, high-performance backend systemsExperience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment technologies, such as AWS and API design.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving startup environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a teamWillingness to problem solve across our entire productAbility to proactively recognize problems and identify solutions to those problemsNice-to-haves:Experience working with audioExperience taking a backend system from zero to oneExperience building and maintaining a system that integrates with many 3rd party APIs, particularly Point of Sale systemsExperience with Kotlin or JavaExperience with containerization tools, such as Docker and KubernetesWhat we offer:Competitive salary and equity packageComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for growth and advancement within a fast-paced, innovative startup environment building on the cutting edgeThe chance to make a meaningful impact on an industry ripe for innovationFree lunch
