Superlanet is recruiting for a Biomedical Equipment Supervisor for a healthcare organization in Southern California. This position will support the Client organization while they bring on a newly acquired hospital. This will be an in-person, FTE opportunity.The Biomedical Supervisor applies a broad scope of diagnostic, therapeutic, and equipment maintenance technologies used in the delivery of patient care. May provide technical support during highly instrumented medical procedures. Provides consultation, instruction and / or technical direction for medical, nursing and other paramedical staff in the safe use of biomedical equipment.Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSNine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus Five years of related experience/training.Experience and proven success in subject matter knowledge of clinical technology for a medical specialty including biomedical equipment management, medical device technology, server / network operations, and security.Ability to apply principles to an acute care setting to ensure operations meet regulatory standards.Experienced with Regulatory surveys and CMS compliance.Experienced at managing the day to day operations of a Biomedical department.Requires travel to multiple sites and working various hours – responding during emergencies when needed.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAAMI CHTM or CBET Certification or other Clinical Technology specialty.Prior hospital CE supervisor experience.
